Michelle Booth, an associate of Affleck Greene McMurtry LLP, practises in the areas of commercial litigation, civil litigation, administrative law, competition law and class actions.
Michelle was called to the bar in 2007 after completing her articles at a litigation boutique in Toronto. Michelle received her LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 2006 where she finished third in her class.
While attending law school, Michelle received numerous awards and scholarships in recognition of highest academic achievement in areas that included taxation, legal ethics and constitutional law. Additionally, Michelle received a number of advocacy awards, including as a member of the second place team at the Gale Cup National Moot where her performance earned her the Dickson Medal for Top Oralist. Throughout law school Michelle was active in a number of teaching, research and volunteer endeavours, some of which included acting as a supervisor at the University of Windsor Community Legal Aid Clinic, and as a research and teaching assistant for Professor David M. Tanovich.
Prior to attending law school, Michelle received her B.A. in Philosophy from York University and is an M.A. candidate in Sociology at the University of Windsor.
