Michael Binetti, an Associate of the firm, practises commercial litigation, competition law, and administrative law.
Michael was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2006, after completing his Articles at Affleck Greene McMurtry LLP. Michael obtained his Honours B.A. from Glendon College of York University in 2002 and his LL.B. from the French Common Law Section of the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law in 2005. Michael also studied at the Institut d’Études Politiques in France, where he obtained a Certificat d’études politiques with honours, as well as at the University of Houston Law Center. While at law school, Michael was awarded the Best Closing Award at the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association Cup in two consecutive years.
Michael has also worked for various elected officials at the provincial and federal levels, most recently for the Minister of Economic Development and Trade for Ontario.
Michael is fluent in English, French, and Italian.
