Harry is an experienced and successful litigator.
He is praised by clients for his advocacy skills, intelligence and passion.
Harry has appeared before all levels of courts in Ontario, administrative tribunals,
and the Somalia Commission of Inquiry. His recent highlights include: representing
Louise Russo, a victim of crime; successfully arguing four of four appeal cases
in the same year; successfully defending lawsuits against the provincial government,
senior police officers, a religious organization, a real estate developer and
a mid-sized Toronto law firm; and helping clients obtain judgments against
two investment dealers.
Harry has spoken on various aspects of litigation and
is the author of several articles, including: The Will to Find Solicitors’ Negligence:
The Pitfalls of Estate Planning; The New Federal Privacy Legislation: Impact
on Insurance Defence Litigation; Group Life Insurance and the Succession Law

He has been an instructor at the Bar Admission Course and was a lecturer at
St. Lawrence College in Kingston. Harry has numerous reported cases.
After his
call to the bar in 1991, Harry carried on a successful general litigation
practice in Kingston, where he also served as a part-time Assistant Crown Attorney.
Harry returned to Toronto in 1996. He has been involved with numerous charities
in the capacity of director and volunteer. He is the founder of Camp Awakening,
a summer camp for children with physical disabilities.
