Competition Tribunal
The Competition Tribunal is a specialized court combining expertise in economics and business with legal expertise that was created in 1986. The Tribunal deals with applications made under merger and other civil provisions of the Competition Act including marketing practices. The Tribunal is composed of not more than six judicial members and not more than eight lay members appointed by the Governor in Council.
